Beef
2 T peanut oil
1 large onion sliced in strips
3 cups broccoli florets bite sized
1 T soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 lb tender beef, sliced fine
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 T soy sauce
1 teaspoon sherry or white wine
2 tablespoons peanut oil
3 cups sliced fresh mushrooms optional
Mix 2 teaspoons cornstarch, 1 T soy sauce & 1 teaspoon sherry or white wine. Add thinly sliced beef & toss to mix. Set aside.
Heat 2 T peanut oil & saute onions, broccoli, & mushrooms, if desired. Add 1 T soy sauce, 1/2 t sugar & 1 tsp sherry or wine. Continue to stir over heat a few seconds. Remove from pan.
Add 2 T peanut oil to pan & saute beef. Add vegetables to beef & heat thoroughly.
